Office Staff

Our Practice Team Members:

All of our team members have had decades of combined experience working together to treat persons with diabetes and other endocrine disorders. Endocrinologists supervise all care.

Endocrinologists are physician specialists who have had 2-3 years of additional training after their 3 years of internal medicine training, 4 years of medical school and 4 years of college. Endocrinologists specialize in endocrine disorders, a few of which are described above. Our endocrinologists include Dr Daniel Weiss and Dr Brian Burtch.

Janet Farrell is a registered dietitian and certified diabetes educator who provides expert nutritional guidance for patients, most of whom have diabetes. She is also one of a select few Certified Diabetes Technology Clinicians in the Ohio.

Our endocrinologists and educators work as a team, reviewing care with the patient on a regular basis.

Our dedicated support staff includes office nurses: Theresa, Karen and front office assistants -Carol and Chris.

Our Clinical Research Team Members:

Our office is among a select few in the country and unique in the area in providing a wide variety of clinical research options. All drugs must undergo careful, detailed study before they are approved for marketing and use by doctors. We offer patients the opportunity to participate in clinical research trials with drugs already in later stages of development. Medication and care related to the study are provided at no cost to you or your insurance.

The members of our clinical research team include:

• Our physicians who supervise the clinical trials

• Maureen Cunningham, Sue Davies who are registered nurses and clinical research coordinators

• Nursing staff who provide care and guidance to patients in the trials
